Hello, I'm Aleix.

I am from Lleida (Catalonia), and my path into humanitarian work has taken me through community programmes in the Dominican Republic, INGO consortia in The Hague and country-office work in Damascus, Syria.

Professionally, I work across partnerships, donor engagement, programme design and applied research. I am particularly interested in localisation and the Humanitarian-Development-Peace nexus, especially the practical question of how broad commitments can become better decisions for programmes and partners.

My academic background combines business management, international relations and conflict studies. I enjoy using research, data and digital tools when they help a team see a problem more clearly, while trying to keep the work grounded in what people can actually use.

I also enjoy exploring information management systems and building lightweight applications. Vibe coding has become a practical way for me to test ideas and turn recurring coordination, analysis and programme-design problems into simple tools for humanitarian teams. Some of these early-stage experiments are collected in Projects.

Outside my current role, athletics has shaped a significant part of my life. I competed internationally and later represented athletes in the governance of the Spanish Athletics Federation. Those experiences taught me a great deal about discipline, teamwork and staying calm under pressure.
